Welcome to Dragon's Vineyard!
I started making my own alcohol back about 1988. While I'm certainly no pro at it, I like to think that people enjoy the beverages I make.
Here are some recipes that I was given back when I first started, that have served me well. Each recipe is for making one gallon of alcohol. If you wish to make more than one gallon, simply add in that much more of each of the ingredients EXCEPT yeast. One packet of yeast will generally be enough for a batch of up to 5 gallons.
This is not intended to be a "How To Make Wine" page, although it may one day grow into that. It is intended to serve as something closer to a cookbook, providing recipes but assuming you have a certain basic level of knowledge and skill. If you live in a sizeable city, there is probably at least one winemaking shop in your area, and I'm sure they will be happy to answer your questions, point you towards good reference sources, and provide you with the materials you'll need.
